Calendar 2013 - 2014

Why so much importance to women?

Women are addressed as ‘the fairer sex’ before wedding and ‘the better half’ after it. They were not given much importance a few decades ago. However, things are changing. Women have become omnipresent. They have left their kitchen and stepped in the big bad world of men. In fact, they have
left men behind in so many areas. But, everything is not good yet and the grim picture still exists. Not all the women are given their due. The exploitation of women continues. Many vices like female foeticide, dowry, molestation, etc. are still polluting the society.

Radiant Media Convergence puts forward a calendar this year, that respects women and their role in the society. Our purpose of offering this theme is simple: hammer the importance of women for the entire month, so that people know that Women are SUPERHUMANS. They deserve all the RESPECT.

Hide People!!!! Germs have attacked the big dirty world of Indian Advertising. For those who are still not on the same page as mine, germs are those tiny microorganisms that cause disease. Germs, more often than not, are invisible to the eyes. And Indian Advertising Industry has exploited this feature of theirs to make them omnipresent.

Let's begin with those products that actually have a relation with germs. For instance, hand wash. Hand Wash brutally kills germs just like bathing soaps do. Whereas Hand Sanitizers kill germs without using water for that matter. Then there are floor cleaners that first hunt and then cleans them up. Same goes for bathroom cleaners. The new entrant in the washing category is Detergent. Yes, a certain brand of detergent has come up with a variant that kills germs present in the clothes, exciting, isn't it! Then there are shampoos that kills germs present in our hair, these germs may be in the form of dandruff, lice, whatever. Just say, 'germs' and then there will be a thousand products to kill them.

In fact, every morning, the first person we meet is the germ. They say (read brands) that germs are present on tooth, between teeth, on tongue, etc. etc. So they have come up with toothpastes and toothbrushes that will kill germs and protect teeth for 24 hours Great!!! Seeing the designs of toothbrushes, nowadays, i think by the time my kids opt for courses, they will have an option of toothbrush engineering. The left-over germs are killed by mouthwash. After a warm bath, our deodorant kills the germs present on the body (O, these germs are those that were missed by soaps). A petroleum jelly brand has introduced a variant that when applied, protects us from germs while playing, working, etc.

Lets move to kitchen. A water purifier brand has come up with an appliance that kills germs present on the veggies and fruits. There are storage utensils that prevent our food from decay and germs. Basically, we wear germ-free clothes (thanks to detergent), stay germ-free (thanks to loads of products), eat germ-free, and exist germ-free. Even then, newspapers indicate many people are dying, thanks to germs. I think people die because they are reading germ laden newspapers, as practically everything else is germ-free. On the contrary, Indian advertising has attacked Germ...Germs, go hide!
